Warehouse Associate

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for accurately picking, packing and shipping product orders as well as maintaining an organized, clean and efficient warehouse. Position Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Responsible for physical handling of all inventory in the product department, including receiving items, accurately picking, fulfilling, and shipping items to customers, restocking and rotating product, assisting in cycle counts, notifying operations manager of low stock items, and ensuring products' expiration is in accordance with company policyEnsures that all returns follow the written return policy and is accompanied by a return material authorization form and notes inventory items that are damaged or expiredEnsures high daily productivity and accuracy by following all written company proceduresUses and has knowledge of warehouse equipment and ensures a culture of safety in the workplaceMaintains the appearance and cleanliness of the warehouse and building groundsRemoves snow from the dock area, customer loading area, sidewalk, and front entrance of the buildingAssists other departments as needed Requirements Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Valid driver's license with the ability to be insuredTime management Customer service skillsOral and written communication skillsTroubleshooting skillsAbility to be a team playerStrong computer aptitudeAbility to work on feet majority of dayAbility to lift up to 50 pounds Preferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities) Operation of warehouse equipment such as the forklift, pallet jack, floor scrubber etc Benefits Pay range $20-$22/hrMedical & dental insurance Retirement account matchingGenerous vacation policy & paid holidaysCompany paid life insurance & long term disabilitySubsidized gym membership optionOngoing career development & trainingEducational assistance program which reimburses tuition expensesDiscounts on products
