Key Responsibilities
- Receives all materials into the ERP system and performs necessary material transactions, including unloading trucks, verifying the accuracy of incoming shipments, and inspecting goods for damage or discrepancies.
- Performs cycle counts and inspects products to ensure they meet quality standards before shipping.
- Pack and prepare orders for shipment in accordance with company standards and customer requirements.
- Label, weigh, and prepare shipments for courier pickup. Ensure outgoing shipments are accurately documented.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, safely and efficiently while transporting materials to various departments.
- Auxiliary duties include maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting regular stock checks, receiving, scrapping, and reporting discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment. Ensure that all products are stored in the appropriate locations.
Qualifications
- Read and comprehend simple verbal and written instructions, and can work in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Basic computer skills and shipping software.
- Math skills for inventory and shipping calculations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of and the ability to abide by OSHA and environmental regulations.
Work Environment
- Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and temperature variations.
- Frequent sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
- Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 4555 pounds without help.
- Walking and standing on the Plant floor.
