About the role
Supports the day to day operations of the Branch providing order and delivery services.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all aspects of warehouse functions including receiving, storing, handling, shipping and preparing product for customer delivery.
- Maintain the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion.
- Work in a safety‑sensitive position requiring constant awareness and safe work practices.
- Undergo a pre‑employment drug test screening for amphetamines, cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamines, opiates, oxycodone, and phencyclidines per HHS and SAMHSA cutoff levels.
Requirements
- Able to move/lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
- Able to withstand extreme temperatures in a typical warehouse environment.
- Position involves substantial standing, walking, lifting, pulling and pushing.
- May require climbing ladders for top‑level selection.
- Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
- Able to identify product by size, type, style, color or product code.
- Must be able to read orders and match orders on shipping tickets to items picked.
- Basic math and reasoning skills.
- Certification of power‑truck equipment.
- Ability to operate inventory control equipment (e.g., bar‑coding equipment, handheld devices).
- Fluent in English and Spanish is a plus.
