About the role

The Cherry Picker Operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the forklift and may also perform order filler or unloading/loading duties. The job site is accessible via bus route.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill orders by picking, packing, and shipping products
• Operate pallet jacks, cherry pickers, and other heavy equipment for moving merchandise
• Perform heavy lifting tasks as required
• Assist Warehouse Supervisor in maintaining inventory control and organizing warehouse space
• Utilize Warehouse Management System for tracking and managing inventory
• Demonstrate mechanical knowledge for basic equipment maintenance

Requirements

• Recent cherry picker experience (within the past 6 months)
• Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork
• Prior experience in order fulfillment and warehouse operations is preferred
• Ability to operate pallet jacks and other heavy equipment safely
• Proficient in using Warehouse Management Systems
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Capability to perform heavy lifting tasks regularly
• Knowledge of inventory control practices is a plus

Pay

$17.50 - $22.00 per hour, based on productivity.
