Warehouse Associate

About the role

Our Punta Gorda lumber yard is seeking a dependable, hard-working, customer service-oriented team player for its Warehouse position. The ideal candidate will have a friendly disposition toward customers and coworkers, a solid work ethic, a team-first attitude, and a can-do mindset.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders within the lumber yard or warehouse environment
• Load 18-wheeler and flatbed trucks
• Operate a forklift (propane 6k lb+ sit-down)
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse

Requirements

• Prior experience in hardwood lumber and/or plywood distribution is preferred
• Ability to work overtime when needed, including some Saturdays

Pay

Hourly position with weekly pay. Salary commensurate with experience. Overtime and bonus opportunities available.

Schedule

Day shift, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays.
