Warehouse Associate

Dakota Premium Hardwoods is a leading supplier of hardwood lumber, plywood, moulding, cabinet hardware/supplies, and laminate. Our Southeast Austin lumber yard is seeking a dependable, hard-working, customer service-oriented team player for its warehouse position.

About the role

The ideal candidate will have a friendly disposition toward customers and coworkers, a solid work ethic, a team-first attitude, and a can-do mindset.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders within the lumber yard or warehouse environment
• Load 18-wheelers and flatbeds
• Operate a forklift (propane 6k lb+ sit-down)
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse

Requirements

• Prior experience in hardwood lumber and/or plywood distribution is preferred
• Ability to work overtime when needed

Schedule

• Day shift, Monday through Friday
• Some Saturdays
• Overtime opportunities available

Pay

• Hourly position with weekly pay
• Overtime and bonus opportunities available
