Warehouse Associate
About the role
Dakota Premium Hardwoods Dallas is seeking dependable, customer service-oriented, hardworking, experienced order pullers and forklift drivers to work in our warehouse. Experience in the lumber business is greatly desired but not required.
Responsibilities
- Pull orders from inventory
- Forklift driving duties
- Load 18 wheeler and flatbed trucks
- Lift up to 75 pounds
- Operate propane 6k lb+ sit down forklift
- Use RF scanners
Requirements
- Full Time, Part Time, Day Shift, Night Shift available
- Bilingual (Monday through Friday, some Saturdays)
- Able to work overtime
Qualifications
- Prior experience in hardwood lumber and/or plywood distribution preferred
- Warehouse and/or woodworking experience preferred
Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of picking orders within a lumber yard or warehouse environment
- Ability to load 18 wheeler and flatbed trucks
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Experience operating forklift (propane 6k lb+ sit down)
- RF scanner experience
