Warehouse Associate

About the role

Company Wrench is an expanding dealership looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our team. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for shipping, receiving, and storage of all parts and materials sold and inventoried by the company. This role maintains all parts storage media in a clean and operationally effective manner, ensuring efficient warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Understand and apply parts warehouse location numbering systems.
• Manage parts inventoried and sold by the dealership.
• Follow all forms and methods for warehousing.
• Operate all material handling equipment and tools.
• Execute order picking, packing methods, and procedures.
• Handle all shipping requirements locally and to all territory locations.
• Maintain inbound emergency order records and methods.
• Coordinate trans-shipping methods for emergency orders.
• Work with parts management to ensure effective processes and procedures for all parts returns to vendors.
• Maintain all reporting concerning parts returns to vendors.
• Check-in and distribute incoming parts shipments and deliveries.
• Complete necessary paperwork for parts orders and deliveries.
• Receive parts into the business system inventory and report any inconsistencies to the Parts Manager upon order receipt.
• Locate and store stock parts on the appropriate shelves within the warehouse.
• Participate in physical counts of parts and materials on an annual or as-directed basis.
• Correct identified duplicate locations.
• Participate in picking up and delivering parts and materials.

Requirements

• A high school or technical school diploma in parts operations or equivalent experience in warehousing in a distribution business.
• Good communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal relations skills.
• Proficiency in operating equipment and aptitude for manual work.
• Good driving record.
