As a Warehouse Team Member, you will play a crucial role that directly impacts the success of Chick-fil-A restaurants. Duties include unloading, picking, and loading product at the Chick-fil-A Supply San Antonio Distribution Center in Selma, TX. Responsibilities

• Efficiency and Organization: Actively engage in unloading, staging, picking, and loading products while on your feet.
• Safety First: Safely operate machinery like forklifts and pallet jacks and maintain a clean and safe warehouse.
• Communication and Care: Connect with care with everyone you come in contact with.
• Additional Opportunities and Professional Development: Other duties and growth opportunities may also be assigned.

Requirements

• Work in rotation through extreme temperatures (–10°F to 100°F) to keep food safe.
• Reach, bend, and stoop while lifting up to 65 pounds per case during most of your shift. Occasionally use mechanical assistance to move up to 2,000 pounds.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking) to safely follow verbal instructions, complete documentation, and accurately interpret labels, pick lists, scanner prompts, signage, and company communications.
• 1 year of relevant experience.
• 5% travel may be required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a warehouse and/or material handling is preferred but not required.
• Previous work in food distribution is a plus.

Schedule

Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday from 7 AM to 5:30 PM (or until the work is done). This is a 4-day workweek consisting of 4 ten-hour days. The schedule will be assigned according to business needs, and flexibility is needed during weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.

Pay

Starting at $21.25 an hour, paid bi-weekly.
