Warehouse Associate

About the role

The Warehouse Operations team is a critical part of Charlie’s Produce. They handle up to 200 loads per week, unloading trailers, breaking down pallets, ensuring accuracy of inventory, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Responsibilities

• Order Fulfillment including picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Safely operate warehouse equipment
• Monitor and report any damaged inventory upon sight
• Safely operate warehouse equipment
• Handle inventory control
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed

Requirements

• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment (36-degrees)
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently
• Physical capacity to utilize moving motorized equipment (electric pallet jack, sit down forklift, stand-up forklift) in a fast-paced environment
• Basic arithmetic skills (addition/subtraction)
• Auditory ability to take orders via a headset
• Able to read, write, and speak English fluently
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test

Qualifications

• Previous electric pallet jack experience a plus
• Previous forklift experience a plus

Pay

Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
