About the role
Carrier Enterprise, a leading national distributor of residential and light commercial HVAC products, is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate for its Richmond location.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive and document merchandise for delivery or return.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles efficiently.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of all products entering or exiting the warehouse.
- Uphold Environmental Health and Safety standards.
- Scan products to ensure accurate and timely shipping.
- Collaborate with internal customers (Store Associates and Sales Managers) for product delivery.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to external customers (mechanical contractors, dealers, owners).
Qualifications and Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, preferably within the HVAC or similar distribution industry.
- Fork Lift experience required.
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal (team-building) skills.
- Strong commitment to customer service and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Exceptional multitasking abilities and attention to detail.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in the HVAC industry.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in PC skills and experience with inventory and shipping/receiving systems.
- Current Forklift experience is required.
