Warehouse Associate

Primary Function

To participate in the receipt, storage, loading, unloading, inventory, and value-added packaging services.

Essential Position Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading trailers
• Utilize inventory management system/scanners
• Assist in maintaining warehouse and related tools/equipment in a clean, safe, and orderly condition
• Safe operation of fork lift and manual pallet jack
• Other duties as assigned to meet business needs

Required Skills And Abilities

• Forklift certification
• Perform basic mathematical skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to follow instructions and take direction
• Must be a self-starter and able to work independently

Education And Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous knowledge of inventory management systems/scanners
• Fork lift and manual pallet jack experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Due to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity, and cold
• Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50lbs
• Bend/twist, climb, stoop/squat
• Regularly stand, walk, sit for extended periods of time
