Warehouse Associate

Iberia Foods, founded in 1930, is the largest Caribbean and Hispanic food distributor in the United States. As a premier source for authentic Caribbean and Latino cuisine, we offer over 800 products, including condiments, pantry items, beverages, and snacks, representing leading brands from the Caribbean and Latin America. We are seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team in the Midwest.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks, incoming containers, and other shipments.
• Select products to fulfill customer orders, and package and label shipments.
• Participate in a cross-training program to develop skills in all areas of warehouse operations.
• Utilize documentation to properly label, put away, track, pick, and pack inventory.
• Put away incoming freight, back to stock, or returns as dictated by operational need.
• Participate and assist with special projects, inventory movement, warehouse layout, or other movement of goods as needed.
• Maintain general cleanliness of the warehouse by moving recyclable and non-recyclable goods to the proper collection containers.
• Participate in cycle and annual inventory counts/recounts.
• Comply with all company and OSHA-regulated safety codes.
• Maintain cleanliness of company-issued machinery and tools.
• Assist with customer pick-ups.
• Assist with inventory audits.
• Assist with documentation as required.
