Warehouse Associate

About the role

Blevins, Inc. is a private, family-owned company headquartered in Nashville, TN, with multiple branches nationwide. For over 50 years, we have supplied manufactured housing, storage, mobile office and related building industries with home essentials, construction products and coordinated installation services. We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate for our Nashville, TN branch.

Responsibilities

• Labeling and processing all in-bound and out-bound freight
• Using UPS, FedEx, and LTL
• Pulling orders from shelves with accuracy and speed
• Maintaining orderly paperwork
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Meeting company accuracy standards
• Working in a fast-paced, customer service driven environment
• Operating material handling equipment safely
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
• Strong commitment to following safety protocols and procedures
• Positive Attitude & Strong Work Ethic
• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• Ability to perform basic math accurately, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Ability to accurately count and verify product quantities when picking, receiving, and preparing orders
• Ability to read and understand basic measurements, dimensions, product numbers, and numerical information
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quantity or order discrepancies
• Ability to read and complete basic warehouse paperwork accurately
• Forklift Experience a plus
