Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Fills work orders, requests for materials or other stock items, distributing items to production workers
• Utilizes forklift or manually unloads materials to/from pallets, racks, and shelves delivered to the BU
• Receives materials into the inventory management system, placing at the proper location within the production system
• Affords assistance in maintaining inventory accuracy and monthly cycle counts by conducting weekly audits of the MRD system
• Works on projects to continuously improve visual re-order points for MRD materials
• Updates the expedite communications boards throughout the day as business is conducted
• Works closely with production staff to ensure non-conforming materials are identified and are accurately processed in a timely manner

Position Summary

Under direct supervision, the Warehouse Worker will perform a combination of tasks to load, unload, and move material and parts in and around the manufacturing facility. You will also be responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the inventory.
