Warehouse Associate

About the role

Responsibilities

• Unloading freight from trucks and trailers using manual and motorized equipment
• Comparing goods received and packing slips for order accuracy, inspecting for damage, and notifying supervisor of discrepancies
• Scanning or entering product into inventory control systems or related computer programs
• Maintaining consistent and adequate stock levels on the sales floor and warehouse shelves in a neat and orderly manner
• Transporting inventory between the warehouse and store locations using manual or motorized equipment
• Picking items from customers' orders, shipping orders, or requisitions, preparing shipments, and loading products onto trucks, trailers, or customers' vehicles
• Occasionally driving a company vehicle to transport items from warehouse to customer or to pick up items from various locations
• Helping with property maintenance tasks such as lawn care and snow removal
• Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse to ensure accessibility and safety
• Participating in scheduled inventory events (physical inventory counts, etc.)
• Completing related tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• A valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Computer skills and the ability to learn new software
• Willingness to work with powered equipment (forklift, etc.)
• Ability to work a rotating Saturday shift

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
