Warehouse Associate

Duties And Responsibilities

• Assist with unloading freight using manual and motorized equipment.
• Compare goods received and packing slips to ensure order accuracy.
• Inspect goods for any damage and notify supervisor of discrepancies.
• Scan product into the inventory control system.
• Maintain a consistent and adequate stock of products on warehouse shelves.
• Participate in scheduled inventory events such as physical inventory counts.
• Prepare shipments for customers or other Acme Tools locations.
• Accurately pick items from customer orders, shipping orders, or requisitions and prepare shipments.
• Load product onto trucks, trailers, or customer vehicles.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse to ensure accessibility and safety.
• Participate in property maintenance such as snow removal and lawn care.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and secure work environment by adhering to safety standards and reporting any suspicious activity.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
• The willingness and capability to operate powered equipment (e.g. Forklift, pallet jack, etc.).
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
