Warehouse Associate
Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist with unloading freight using manual and motorized equipment.
- Compare goods received and packing slips to ensure order accuracy.
- Inspect goods for any damage and notify supervisor of discrepancies.
- Scan product into the inventory control system.
- Maintain a consistent and adequate stock of products on warehouse shelves.
- Participate in scheduled inventory events such as physical inventory counts.
- Prepare shipments for customers or other Acme Tools locations.
- Accurately pick items from customer orders, shipping orders, or requisitions and prepare shipments.
- Load product onto trucks, trailers, or customer vehicles.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse to ensure accessibility and safety.
- Participate in property maintenance such as snow removal and lawn care.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and secure work environment by adhering to safety standards and reporting any suspicious activity.
Qualifications
- Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
- The willingness and capability to operate powered equipment (e.g. Forklift, pallet jack, etc.).
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
