About the role
As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for assisting the Acquisitions Manager with pickups and efficiently handling inventory and shipments. Your duties include assisting pickups, receiving, loading and unloading items, organizing, inspecting, and storing incoming items, and preparing and shipping outgoing orders. Your attention to detail and organizing skills will be crucial for ensuring the efficiency and smooth operation of warehouse processes.
Responsibilities
- Unload and unpack incoming used medical devices.
- Inspect items for damage and functionality, documenting conditions accurately.
- Accurately record device details, including serial numbers, model numbers, and conditions, into the company’s inventory management system (e.g., NetSuite).
- Maintain the organization of inventory within the warehouse, ensuring that devices are labeled, stored correctly, and easy to locate.
- Assist in cleaning, basic testing, and refurbishing of medical devices as required before resale.
- Monitor stock levels, rotate inventory, and ensure proper tracking of product flow between incoming devices and those ready for shipment.
- Coordinate with the sales and operations teams to prepare medical devices for disposition, ensuring products are available for resale or shipment in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety standards and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Communicate with the Warehouse Manager and other team members on inventory status, issues with equipment, and recommendations for process improvements.
- Assist with picking, packing, and shipping medical devices as needed to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Participate in regular physical inventory counts and audits to ensure accurate inventory levels.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
- Basic computer skills.
- Physical fitness for lifting and moving items.
- Forklift Operations
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Communication and teamwork abilities.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Occasional lifting of items up to 75 pounds may be required.
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the warehouse.
- Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching.
- Handling small tools and equipment for testing and packaging.
- Operating handheld scanners and other electronic devices.
- Pushing and pulling carts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Occasional use of ladders or step stools to access high shelves.
- Good vision for reading labels, scanning barcodes, and inspecting items.
- Ability to hear and respond to safety signals and instructions.

Pay and Schedule
Hours: Monday - Friday; 8am-5pm. Pay: $20-22/hour.
