Warehouse Associate 920 South Oyster Bay Rd, Hicksville, NY, 11801

Key Responsibilities

• Perform cherry picking as the core function of this role, accurately selecting and compiling customer orders.
• Operate cherry picker (order picker) equipment in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Demonstrate ability to pick items from high-level shelving using elevated lift equipment.
• Lead by example and ensure all work aligns with company standards.
• Collaborate daily with the Tile Warehouse Manager.
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trucks promptly.
• Organize and store materials in designated locations.
• Communicate any discovered or suspected material damage or inventory issues to the Tile Warehouse Manager.
• Wrap and band pallets for safe delivery.
• Absorb and assist with customer pickups, ensuring materials are safely loaded into residential vehicles.
• Work with coworkers to move large or awkward boxes and pieces.
• Participate in the container receipt process, including physical unloading and system inputs.
• Support the operations team on projects that improve and advance overall operations.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.

Qualifications

• Availability to work Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 5:00 pm, and Saturdays as needed.
• Ability to lift and move heavy boxes (50–75 lbs) regularly.
• At least 1 year of experience operating forklifts and reach machines.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Turret Truck experience preferred.
• Cherry Picking experience required (2 years).
