Warehouse Associate, 2nd Shift Packaging
Purpose of Role
This role has big-time impact! Warehouse Teammates participate in the daily activities and operations of the Distribution House. This role performs an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials. Warehouse Teammates are responsible for manual tasks associated with the processing of orders. This position is a cross functional role. Warehouse Teammates will perform work in any department within the facility as directed to support operational requirements and business priorities.
Qualifications
- Previous work experience (preferred, not required), particularly in a distribution center role
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; sweep, dust and mop
- Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
- Retrieve and place merchandise in trailers, pallet locations, and pallet racks
- Aids with the development of efficient space planning for storage areas
- Utilizes hand-held computers to receive daily tasks
- Picking, pulling, and packaging of orders
- Processing and shipping of orders
- Consistently at work and on time
- Other duties as assigned
Workplace Location
Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Sparrows Point, MD facility.

Base Compensation
Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
