Warehouse Associate 1st Shift

About the role

Full-time, direct‑hire position Monday‑Friday day shift at the Edison, NJ branch of Würth Baer Supply Company, a leading specialty wholesale distributor to the woodworking industry with over $400M annual revenue and 29 distribution locations across the Upper Midwest, Midwest, Ohio Valley, East, and Northeastern United States. Würth Baer is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Würth Group, a €20B+ privately held company headquartered in Künzelsau, Germany.

Responsibilities

• Picking (primarily on foot with a cart)
• Packing
• Shipping/receiving
• Loading/unloading
• Checking in materials
• Put‑aways/stocking materials
• Forklift operation (sit‑down propane)
• Palletizing
• Skid wrapping
• Team and individual lifting
• Cleaning/general housekeeping
• Other warehouse duties as needed

An essential function requires lifting and lowering packages up to 70 pounds; proper lifting techniques must be used at all times. The role is customer‑facing, requiring an excellent customer‑focus attitude. Employees must be able to withstand fluctuating temperatures.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• 1+ year of warehouse experience (receiving, picking, packing, shipping, loading/unloading trucks)
• Good communication skills
• Some Will Call experience a plus
• Basic computer knowledge
• Forklift experience

Schedule

Hours: 8:00 am‑4:30 pm ET, Monday‑Friday (day shift, weekends off)
