About the role

Ryder is hiring Temporary to Permanent Warehouse Associates in Goodyear, Arizona. The positions offer weekly pay and a career path that prioritizes safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Pack, kit, and assemble orders and materials.
  • Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers.
  • Ensure all scanning is completed correctly.
  • Help train dock employees on new procedures.
  • Ensure facility is secure at the end of each shift; investigate and resolve scanning issues and housekeeping concerns.
  • Perform picking and packing duties.
  • Check for evidence of product or container damage.
  • Perform the assigned tasks as described in the location’s policies and procedures, standards, and associated logical transactions.
  • Participate in workgroups and other team activities for the purpose of self-improvement and improving warehouse operations and related business functions.
  • Perform housekeeping duties for assigned areas.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Six months of related warehouse experience required.
  • One (1) year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
  • Intermediate ability to operate powered industrial trucks, such as stand-up and sit-down forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, etc., including how to operate and maintain (change battery, recognize common mechanical issues).
  • May be required to operate manual and/or automated other warehouse/manufacturing equipment (such as a packaging line).
  • Intermediate ability to operate manual and/or automated other warehouse/manufacturing equipment (such as a packaging line).

Qualifications

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Ability to input data into the WMS computer system (s) in use.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Multi-tasking, highly organized with excellent time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices.

Skills

Pay

Hourly Pay: $18.00 per hour
Overtime Pay: $27.00 per hour

Schedule

Monday-Tuesday & Friday-Saturday
6:00am-4:30pm
Overtime as needed

Benefits

  • Includes all benefits offered by other Warehouse Distribution Facilities.
  • No waiting period for benefits.

Pay

Weekly Pay
$18.00 per hour
$27.00 per hour for overtime

Schedule

Monday through Tuesday and Friday through Saturday
6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Overtime as needed
