Warehouse Associate 1st Shift

Cornerstone Building Brands · Jasper, TN · 1 mo ago
On-siteManufacturing$17.25/hrFull-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections for headings: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections that have real specific content. Must not repeat job title. Must not include Job ID etc. Must remove boilerplate, navigation, EEO, etc. Must preserve all substantive info. Let's parse the posting. Content: - Intro about company (Cornerstone Building Brands description). That could be "About the role"? Actually "About the role" maybe includes description of company and role? The posting includes a description of company then "Job Description Walk-In Interviews Every Tuesday and Wednesday 6AM - 8AM CDT Site Address:1274 Industrial Blvd, Jasper, TN 37347". That's location and interview schedule. Then "JOB DETAILS Base Pay is $17.25 per hour 1st shift: M-F 7am - 3pm Benefits Start Day 1 80 Hours Vacation On-Demand Pay Program (access to your pay when you need it)". So we have Pay, Schedule, Benefits. Then "DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES" list. Then "Qualifications" includes Experience, Knowledge, Mental/Physical/Visual Demands, Working Conditions, Equipment/Tools Used, Safety. Then "Additional Information Why work for Cornerstone Building Brands?" includes benefits again (medical, dental, vision, PTO, etc). Also includes EEO etc which we must remove. We need to map to sections: - About the role: maybe company overview and role summary? Could include the intro paragraph about company and maybe the job description summary? The posting doesn't have a separate "About the role" heading but we can create one with substantive content: description of company and role (the first paragraph). That seems appropriate. - Responsibilities: the DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES list. - Requirements: maybe the Qualifications section (Experience, Knowledge, etc). Could be "Requirements". Or we could separate Qualifications and Skills. The instruction says use headings for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). So we can have multiple of those. We need to decide which sections to include based on content. We have content for: - About the role: company description. - Responsibilities: duties list. - Requirements: maybe experience, knowledge, mental/physical/visual demands, working conditions, equipment/tools used, safety. - Qualifications: maybe same as Requirements? Could split: Requirements = experience/knowledge; Qualifications = mental/physical/visual demands, working conditions, equipment/tools, safety. But we can also combine. - Skills: maybe specific skills like hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, ability to read numbers, lift weight, detailed oriented, communication, etc. Could be extracted. - Benefits: benefits list (medical, dental, vision starting day 1, PTO, paid holidays, FSA, life insurance, LTD, STD, 401k, EAP, discount programs, tuition reimbursement, training, professional development, 80 Hours Vacation, On-Demand Pay Program). Also "Benefits Start Day 1". Also "80 Hours Vacation". Also "On-Demand Pay Program". Also "Full-time* team members receive** medical, dental and vision benefits starting day 1." etc. - Pay: Base Pay $17.25 per hour. - Schedule: 1st shift: M-F 7am - 3pm. Also Walk-In Interviews Every Tuesday and Wednesday 6AM - 8AM CDT (that's interview schedule, not job schedule). Might include schedule info: shift. We must not include placeholder/filler text. All content we have is specific. We must not include boilerplate like EEO, scam warnings, etc. Also remove duplicated lines (the "Why work for Cornerstone Building Brands?" appears twice; we should keep only once). Also remove navigation, cookie, legal, etc. We must preserve all substantive information. So we need to include the company description, the walk-in interview info? The instruction says remove application instructions. Walk-in interview details might be considered application instructions? It's about when to attend interviews. Might be considered part of hiring process. The instruction says remove application instructions. Likely we should drop the walk-in interview lines. However, the location address might be considered substantive? It's location of job. Could be considered relevant. The instruction says remove application instructions; location might be considered job location, not application instruction. But the walk-in interview schedule is definitely application instruction. We'll drop that. We need to keep site address? Possibly relevant as job location. Not explicitly prohibited. We'll keep address as part of About the role maybe. We must not repeat job title as heading. No job title given explicitly; we can ignore. We must not put Job ID/requisition numbers as headings; none present. Now craft HTML. We'll have sections:

Schedule

1st shift: Monday–Friday, 7 am – 3 pm.

We must ensure we didn't include any boilerplate. We removed EEO, scam warnings, etc. Also removed duplicated "Why work for Cornerstone Building Brands?" content; we kept benefits but not the duplicated paragraph. Check if any content missing: we didn't include "Working Conditions" specifics: "Warehouse environment with exposure to equipment noise, temperature extremes, and dust; Position requires continual lifting, twisting and bending". Should we include that? It's substantive. Could be part of Qualifications or Requirements. Let's add a bullet under Qualifications or maybe a separate "Working Conditions" but not in headings list. Since we have Qualifications, we can add those details there. Add bullet: "Work in a warehouse environment with exposure to equipment noise, temperature extremes, and dust; continual lifting, twisting and bending required." Also we didn't include "Safety: Safe work performance is required from each Associate at all times; Perform all duties and responsibilities in a safe manner in accordance with applicable Health and Safety Manuals; Required to wear or use personal protective equipment as applicable and to immediately report unsafe working conditions". That's also substantive. Could be under Qualifications or Skills. Let's add bullet under Qualifications: "Commitment to safe work performance; use of personal protective equipment as required; immediate reporting of unsafe conditions." Also we missed "Must be at least 18 years of age to apply." That's a requirement; could be under Requirements. Add bullet: "Must be at least 18 years of age." Also "Note to External Recruiters..." etc is boilerplate; remove. Now incorporate. Let's adjust sections. Requirements: include experience, knowledge, age. Qualifications: include mental/physical/visual demands, working conditions, equipment/tools, safety. Skills: maybe just proficiency with tools? But we already have equipment/tools under Qualifications. Could move tool proficiency to Skills. Let's keep Skills as tool proficiency and safety gear usage. Thus: Requirements bullet list: - No experience necessary; mechanical aptitude helpful. - Basic knowledge of shipping process helpful. - Must be at least 18 years of age. Qualifications bullet list: - Good eye/hand coordination and excellent manual dexterity, including skill to use hand and electrical tools. - Ability to read and comprehend numbers. - Ability to lift up to 86 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist; lift 87 to 100 lbs with assistance. - Detail‑oriented with good communication skills and ability to interact well with others. - Ability to separate product by profiling color. - Work in a warehouse environment with exposure to equipment noise, temperature extremes, and dust; continual lifting, twisting and bending required. - Commitment to safe work performance; use of personal protective equipment as required; immediate reporting of unsafe conditions. - Willing to obtain a license to operate motorized equipment; if applicable, may need certification to operate a crane. Skills bullet list: - Proficiency with claw hammer, pneumatic nail gun, pneumatic bander, and electric skill saw.
