About the role

As a Warehouse Associate in the Warehouse Department, you will be responsible for crating products and materials in preparation for on-time shipment. Successful candidates will be organized, demonstrate good communication skills, and safely use various hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Build shipping crates/pallets
• Palletize inventory and products
• Safely load/unload parts and materials throughout the facility
• Work with hand and power tools
• Complete forklift inspections to monitor maintenance needs; communicate maintenance issues to your supervisor
• Assist with organization and housekeeping of the facility
• Work outside, sometimes during inclement weather conditions, loading and unloading materials/parts
• Comply with all applicable OSHA, EPA, local regulatory laws, and company safety policies

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of safe use and handling of tools
• Forklift driving experience (preferred)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift medium to heavy weight up to 75 lbs
• May sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
• May stoop, bend, reach, walk; perform repetitive motions using hands to grasp, push, pull, or do fine manipulations
• Must have adequate sight to read blueprints, work orders, or other documents
• The noise level in the work environment can be loud
• Ability to work outside, sometimes during inclement weather conditions
