Warehouse Associate 1 1st Shift

We serve residential and commercial customers across the new construction and Repair & Remodel (R&R) markets, offering a market-leading portfolio that includes vinyl windows, vinyl siding, stone veneer, metal roofing, metal wall systems, and metal accessories.

About the role

Base pay rate is $21.00 - $22.00 per hour. Schedule: 1st Shift, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday - Friday (opportunities for overtime).

Responsibilities

• Unloading deliveries, checking for accuracy, and storing items appropriately.
• Picking, packing, and shipping orders accurately and efficiently.
• Organizing and maintaining inventory, ensuring stock levels are adequate, and conducting regular inventory checks.
• Inspecting products for defects and damages, ensuring only quality items are shipped.
• Keeping the warehouse clean and organized, adhering to safety and hygiene regulations.
• Creating and managing invoices, tracking shipments, and maintaining records of incoming and outgoing goods.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.

Skills

• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and move heavy items, often requiring the use of equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Attention to Detail: Ensuring orders are processed accurately and inventory is managed correctly.
• Organizational Skills: Efficiently organizing stock and maintaining a clean workspace.
• Teamwork: Collaborating with other warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with warehouse management systems and basic computer skills.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting Capacity: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Mobility: Prolonged periods of time on feet, standing, bending, etc.
• Exposure: Moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and non-climate-controlled environment.
