About the role

Artisan Design Group (ADG), a Lowe’s company, is a leading national provider of interior finishings solutions for homebuilders and property management clients. The Warehouse Associate plays a key role in supporting daily warehouse operations by ensuring materials and products are organized, handled safely, and prepared accurately for delivery and installer pick-up.

Responsibilities

  • Review customer, installation, and shipping orders to accurately determine materials to be picked, staged, and distributed.
  • Move materials between receiving, storage, staging, and shipping areas using proper handling techniques and equipment.
  • Pick, verify, and stage will-call and delivery orders, assisting customers with loading as needed.
  • Load and unload delivery trucks safely and efficiently while maintaining product integrity.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment to support efficient operations.
  • Assist with inventory organization and material flow to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
  • Follow and adhere to all warehouse safety policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members to support daily operational goals.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Work effectively in a team environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in warehouse, construction, landscaping, manufacturing, distribution, or a related environment.
  • Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 100 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory management, shipping, receiving, or order processing functions.
  • Ability to read and understand basic written instructions, perform simple mathematical calculations, and accurately complete warehouse documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment.
  • Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory control, or warehouse management systems.
  • Experience working with flooring, cabinetry, countertops, building materials, or other interior finish products.

  • Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment in accordance with company safety standards.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately pick, stage, receive, verify, and organize materials and customer orders.
  • Ability to maintain inventory accuracy through proper product handling, labeling, and documentation practices.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with warehouse team members, supervisors, installers, drivers, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated reliability, accountability, and commitment to maintaining consistent attendance and productivity.
  • Ability to follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Basic problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies, order issues, and material handling challenges.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and meeting operational deadlines.
  • Ability to safely load, unload, move, and stage materials while minimizing product damage and maintaining quality standards.
  • Demonstrated teamwork, adaptability, and willingness to support various warehouse and operational functions as business needs require.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described below are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position: Lifting/Carrying: Frequently lifts and/or moves items weighing up to 50 pounds. Mobility: Frequently required to stand for extended periods and move throughout the warehouse or job site to access materials and equipment. Positioning: Regularly required to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach with hands and arms. Manual Dexterity: Frequently handles and moves materials using proper techniques and equipment. Vision: Ability to visually inspect materials and identify quality differences.

Work Environment

The work environment characteristics described below are representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of this position. Warehouse/Facility: Work is performed in a warehouse and shop environment with exposure to non-climate-controlled conditions (heat and cold), moving equipment, and moderate to high noise levels. Operational Demands: Role may require meeting deadlines and working in a fast-paced environment to support operational needs. Safety: Requires adherence to all safety policies and use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed.
