Warehouse Assistant

About the role

A Warehouse Assistant is responsible for supporting warehouse and distribution operations by assisting with material handling, shipping, receiving, inventory activities, and general warehouse functions. This role is cross-trained to provide backup coverage for various Mailing Distribution Specialist positions and assists Team Leads with daily operational tasks to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.

Department: Warehouse. Reports To: Warehouse Manager. FLSA Status: Non-exempt.

Responsibilities

• Provide backup support for Distribution Specialist functions, including shipping, receiving, package preparation, labeling, manifests, and documentation.
• Assist Team Leads with daily warehouse activities and special projects.
• Receive, move, stage, store, and distribute materials throughout the facility.
