To think and act in alignment with our Creator. Job Description Generator Supercenter is looking for a dependable and organized Warehouse Assistant to help keep our Nashville shop running smoothly. This is a hands-on position focused on keeping the warehouse and shop clean and organized, receiving and putting away materials, staging equipment and supplies for upcoming generator installations, and helping our installation and service crews get what they need before heading out for the day. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys early mornings, staying busy, working with their hands, and keeping things organized. We’re looking for someone dependable who takes pride in keeping a shop in good shape and can work independently without needing constant direction. Key Responsibilities Shop & Warehouse Organization Keep the warehouse, shop, and storage areas clean and organizedMake sure tools, materials, and equipment are returned to their proper locationsKeep walkways and work areas clear and safePerform general shop cleanup as neededHelp maintain an orderly and efficient work environment Job Staging & Crew Support Stage materials and supplies for upcoming generator installationsHelp prepare materials for installation and service crews each morningAssist crews with loading materials and equipmentVerify staged materials are organized and ready for the correct jobsHelp keep commonly used materials readily available for crews Receiving & Inventory Receive deliveries and help unload incoming materialsSafely operate a forklift to load, unload, and move generators, pallets, and materials throughout the shop and warehouseCheck incoming deliveries and organize materials in the appropriate locationsAssist with basic inventory organizationNotify management when commonly used materials or shop supplies are running low Driving & General Shop Support Safely operate company vehicles as needed for material pickups, deliveries, and shop errandsPick up parts, materials, or supplies as neededBreak down boxes and dispose of packaging and trashHelp maintain the yard and exterior shop areasAssist with moving generators, parts, materials, tools, and equipmentHelp keep equipment and shop areas in good working orderHandle other general warehouse and shop tasks as needed Requirements & Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of ageValid driver's license with a good driving recordDependable and able to maintain a consistent early-morning schedule Comfortable working independently and staying productive without constant supervisionOrganized and able to keep track of materials, tools, and equipmentAbility to safely operate a forkliftPrevious forklift experience preferredAble to safely lift and move materials and equipmentComfortable being on your feet and performing physical work throughout the shiftBasic familiarity with tools, warehouse work, construction materials, or mechanical equipment is helpful but not requiredGood attitude and willingness to help wherever neededValid authorization to work in the United States Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
