UOVO seeks an Warehouse Art Handler/Swing Driver to join its dynamic and growing team. The position expectations are to support and supervise all incoming and outgoing property out of its South San Francisco facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The Warehouse Art Handler will report directly to the Operations Manager. Core Responsibilities Proper handling of art objects, using the appropriate methods and materials for packaging, loading & securing for safe transportPreparation and careful execution of paperwork, including bills of lading, labels, driver logs, and detailed condition reports with accompanying photos if necessaryReceive and release shipments into warehouse facilitiesPack artworks for local, national and international transportation and storageReceive, barcode and reconcile all incoming and outgoing shipmentsAdhere to UOVO’s inventory control standards and ensure highest inventory control standards and accuracy is maintained at all timesEnsure Bills of Lading, Warehouse Receipts, barcodes and supplemental information is properly prepared and disseminated both internally and externally meeting all deadlinesSchedule all dock activity and ensure proper allocation of labor in conjunction with the Operations Manager and wider UOVO management teamResponsible for UOVO’s database to be updated with accurate information regarding inventory dimensions, pack types, location scans, etc. in relation to incoming/outgoing shipments and other large inventory projects as needed within the warehouseAssist with inventory audits and other inventory control projectsProvide support to Art Handler team as it pertains to inventory control to ensure the highest level of accuracyWeekend, overtime, and holiday work may be necessary; therefore, schedule flexibility is requiredSupport to internal teams, as neededOther projects as assigned by Manager Qualifications & Skills Strong attention to detail and ability to multitaskAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office preferredExperience working in a cloud-based inventory management softwareExperience working in warehousing, art handling or collections management a plusAbility to push and pull 150 pounds on a dolly/cart, as well as 50 pounds without mechanical aidAbility to carry 40 pounds of varying size and shape up to a distance of 90 feet;Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, crouch, twist, and reach overhead;Ability to be exposed to outside weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain and snowFamiliarity with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, jbars, dollies and other necessary warehouse equipmentThis in-person position requires on-site presence at UOVO’s South San Francisco facility five days a week with occasional requests to work nights and on weekends.
