Summary Of Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities

• Operation of metalworking machinery.
• General labor for loading and unloading and warehousing.
• Perform routine operations including loading raw material and start-up/shut down of equipment.
• Manual assembly of product with use of manual and powered tools.
• Proper stacking and protection of parts as required to maintain specified quality standard.
• Ensure accuracy of parts produced by visual inspection and/or by use of standard inspection instruments (i.e., micrometers, calipers, etc.).
• Submit first and last piece production for Quality Control approval.
• Enter data on production reports regarding shop orders worked on, quantity produced, time worked, etc.
• Follow and verify all instructions provided by work orders and customer specifications.
• Comply with all safety practices and Company policies.
• Perform basic housekeeping duties.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience.
• Warehouse experience.
• Prior metalworking, construction, or mechanical trade experience, is ideal.
• Able to pass background check.
• Able to pass a physical examination for vision, hearing, and mobility.

Schedule

1st shift is from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and must be open to working overtime.
