Warehouse and Inventory Associate (Contract 20-30hour/week)

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound shipments, physically and systemically, to be used in production operations and engineering projects.
• Physically and systemically move approved Production materials from IQC staging areas into storage locations.
• Pick, pack and ship parts to support outbound shipping requests.
• Perform other systemic transactions as needed.
• Comply with materials management policies and processes, including First In/First Out (FIFO) material rotation, 5-S, Safety, Quality, Attendance and Good Warehousing/Housekeeping processes.
• Support the cycle count process in coordination with the manager.
• Operate material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc).
• Communicate via email the status of material movements and transactions to appropriate internal customers.
• Handle special projects, other duties, and ad-hoc tasks for a growing startup as required.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in a related field.
• Able to lift and carry up to 45 lbs.
• Able to use warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and hand trucks.
• Demonstrates effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office/Google Suite.
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking, and the ability to self-manage.

Nice to have

• Experience managing electromechanical inventory is strongly preferred.
• Experience with Dangerous Goods shipments is strongly preferred.
• Experience with inventory management and other ERP systems preferred.

Pay

The salary range estimate for this position depending on level of experience is $28-$45 USD.
