Warehouse and Depot Manager

About the Role

BlastOne is a leading global supplier in the Industrial Corrosion Control Industry, growing rapidly worldwide. The Depot Manager is responsible and accountable for the Pacific, WA Warehouse, ensuring the department fulfills supply to customers, depots, and consignment customers as required. This role develops systems integrated with business systems to procure abrasive products cost-effectively and timely. The Depot Manager supports internal customers, manages flow sheets, and ensures data accuracy to meet customer and depot requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize daily abrasive activities
• Manage abrasive depots and consignment stock
• Direct staff to ensure priorities are achieved
• Action back orders and analyze abrasive inventory levels
• Follow up on held releases and final release costs for invoicing
• Review customer usages and reorder levels
• Assist with stock takes and ensure stock counts are accurate
• Obtain and record transport quotations
• Maintain a transport matrix for abrasive releases and action orders
• Verify transport companies’ invoices for completeness
• Reconcile weekly abrasive depot flow sheets
• Enter correct cyclic counts data and calculate variance
• Investigate discrepancies with cyclic counts
• Ensure monthly cyclic count of all abrasive-related numbers is performed and entered
• Perform other tasks and duties based on business needs

Requirements

• Experience managing a team and/or function
• Shipping & Receiving experience
• Logistics experience
• Customer Service experience
• High School Diploma (Associate’s degree preferred)
• Enthusiasm, drive, and passion
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle everyday challenges
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Systems
• Forklift trained
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs

Schedule

Monday to Friday, between the hours of 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Minimal travel required.
