About the role
The Warehouse Agent is responsible for operational functions within the warehouse, including Shipping and Receiving, inbound/outbound deliveries, pick and pack, and other tasks. This role involves regular communication with carriers, the local transportation group, and receivers.
Responsibilities
- Performs one or more warehouse operational functions (pick, pack, wrap, and load orders for customers).
- Receives and stows product while ensuring inventory accuracy.
- Unloads/loads trucks or containers, including building and breaking down ULDs.
- Schedules inbound deliveries using Advance Ship Notices.
- Works within established SOPs, scientific methods, and adheres to quality guidelines.
- Demonstrates proficiency in several areas or specialized warehouse operations.
- Accurately and efficiently performs assigned operational tasks.
- Operates material handling, packaging, and warehouse equipment.
- Performs specialized warehouse operations within facility guidelines.
- Demonstrates effective oral and written communication skills.
- Conducts weekly, monthly, and annual cycle counts.
- Completes other duties and tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of two to five (2–5) years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Past or current Forklift Certification.
- Experience in a fast-paced warehouse or production logistics environment (preferred).
Skills
- Technical: Proficiency in an automated warehouse environment, working knowledge of WMS technologies, material handling equipment, and MS Office Suite.

Physical Demands
- Work is performed while standing, sitting, and/or walking.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for 8–10 hours per day.
- Requires effective communication using speech, vision, and hearing.
- Ability to use hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
- Exposure to moving machinery, temperature/humidity changes, dust, fumes, and gases.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions and move or position self to reach, lift, climb, balance, stoop, and crouch.
- Ability to read PC screens, detect color coding, and read fine print or normal type size.
