Warehouse Agent

About the Role

Join our team as a Warehouse Agent in Indianapolis, Indiana. Your efficiency and attention to detail will help DHL deliver cargo on time, every time. This position involves heavy lifting and forklift operation, working evening hours with schedule flexibility to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Transport cargo shipments to/from the airport, area carriers, and direct customer pick-up/deliveries.
• Move shipments and materials between receiving, staging, and designated areas.
• Sort and place shipments on racks, shelves, or designated areas by destination.
• Build and maximize airline containers and pallets; load/unload vehicles, vans, straight trucks, and tractor trailers.
• Perform pick-and-pack assembly; prepare shipments for export from storage areas.
• Mark and label shipments with identifying information; prepare bills of lading as needed.
• Weigh and measure shipments; prepare on-hand notices.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment to transport shipments.

Requirements

• Hazmat endorsement strongly preferred (not required).
• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, cargo handling, and forklift operations preferred.
• Forklift certification required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.

Pay

$19.39 - $25.85/hour (based on experience).
