Responsibilities
- Receive incoming materials and verify shipments against purchase orders and packing slips
- Transport materials from receiving or production areas to warehouse locations using forklifts or pallet jacks
- Sort and store materials on racks, shelves, or bins based on product type, size, or code
- Pick and stage materials for production using work orders and batch cards
- Assemble customer orders, palletize products, and prepare them for shipment
- Load and unload trucks safely while verifying outgoing shipments for accuracy
- Label materials per customer or internal specifications
- Update inventory records using barcode scanners or warehouse systems
- Weigh and count materials to confirm inventory accuracy
- Maintain a clean, organized warehouse by performing routine housekeeping and debris removal

No formal education or prior experience is required. Training is provided.
Physical & Work Environment
This role is performed in a manufacturing and warehouse environment and requires:
- Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, volatile materials, and moving machinery
- Standing and walking for most of an 8-hour shift, with frequent reaching and handling of materials
- Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
- Physically demanding duties with regular lifting up to 50 lbs. and frequent lifting up to 100 lbs.
- Routine use of hand tools, material handling equipment, and cleaning solvents
- Strict adherence to PPE and safety procedures
