Ward Clerk/Unit Secretary

Freedom Behavioral Hospital of Monroe/West Monroe has immediate openings for a Full-Time Ward Clerk! If you have the heart for caring for individuals this is the place to be! All Applicants selected for employment will be required to undergo a post-offer drug test and federal background investigation. The Ward Clerk Will Be Required To Contribute to the physical, psychological, emotional, and well-being of each person served.Keep nurses station clean and organized.Contributes to patient records by collecting and documenting data relative to patient.Performs a variety of clinical and patient care duties under the direction of a licensed nurse. Provides clerical support by handling a wide range of related tasks and will work independently with little or no supervision. Assist with Physician Rounds when available.Monitor communication thread.Ensure unit is stocked with supplies for daily functioningCommunicate with all disciplines within the hospital setting Education, Training And Experience High school degree or equivalent required.Minimum of one (1) year medical or psychiatric patient care experience preferred.
