Walking Floor Driver (EAP)

About the role

Ecology Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a qualified and experienced Class A Driver to join our Transportation team. The position is full-time, non‑exempt, reporting to the Operations Manager, located in Paramount & Irvine, CA. The role offers a $2,000.00 bonus. Responsibilities

• Safely operate Walking Floor Trailers to transport materials to designated locations.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safe transportation.
• Inspect and maintain the condition of the Walking Floor Trailers, reporting any issues promptly.
• Load and unload materials in a secure and efficient manner, following proper procedures.
• Complete required paperwork, such as logbooks and delivery receipts, accurately and on time.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, team members, and clients to ensure smooth transportation operations.
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of the Walking Floor Trailers to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Follow established routes and schedules, adjusting as necessary to accommodate changes.
• Adhere to environmental regulations and company guidelines for the proper disposal of materials.

Requirements

• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) (required)
• Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience as a Class A Driver (required)
• High school diploma or equivalent

Qualifications

• Endorsements on Class A CDL (preferred)
• Strong understanding of transportation regulations and safety protocols
