Walk-In Care PA - NO CALL AND FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE

About the role

Northern Light A.R. Gould Hospital seeks a full-time (0.9 FTE) BC/BE Nurse Practitioner to join a collaborative team in our Walk-In Care practice. In this hospital-employed position, practitioners care for patients of all ages, perform minor procedures, and rotate between clinics in Presque Isle and Caribou, Maine. New‑grad NPs with ED, Critical Care, or Ambulatory Care experience are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients of all ages
• Perform minor procedures (e.g., wound care, suturing)
• Rotate between the Presque Isle and Caribou clinics
• Engage in procedural opportunities such as wound care and suturing
• Work in a fast‑paced environment offering variety and learning potential

Qualifications

• BC/BE Nurse Practitioner certification
• Current NP licensure (or eligibility)
• Experience in Emergency Department, Critical Care, or Ambulatory Care settings welcome (new‑grad NPs encouraged)

Pay

$122,328 – $126,000 annual base salary, with the ability to earn additional compensation based on quality incentives.

Schedule

Flexible schedule includes 8‑ and 12‑hour shifts (approximately 13 days per month); no call requirements; both clinics are open 7 days per week.
