Walk dogs and socialize cats at a local shelter

About the Role

Animal shelters rely on volunteers to provide daily exercise, enrichment, and human contact to animals waiting for homes. Volunteers walk dogs, play with cats, and help with basic care tasks.

What to Expect

• Shifts run 2–3 hours; morning slots are most common
• Orientation is required before your first shift (~1 hour)
• Physical requirements: walking, light lifting, comfortable with dogs and cats
