WAITER/WAITRESS - ENTERPRISE CENTER

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Ensures all food and beverage is properly delivered and/or stored.
• Knows all menu offerings.
• Fulfills set up and break down processes efficiently.
• Understands all event paperwork and reports.
• Establishes rapport with guests and uses suggestive and upselling techniques.
• Adheres to location appearance guidelines.
• Acts with a sense of urgency and professionalism.
• Employ good safety and sanitation practices.
• Follows responsible alcohol service policies.
• Understands the importance of maintaining equipment and executes accordingly.
• Performs post event product inventory and restocks as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Essential Job Duties

• Stand for long periods of time and be able to actively engage physically with guests.
• React with physical and mental alertness in emergency situations.
• Demonstrate physical stamina and agility required to be mobile for long periods throughout the day.
• Lift/move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Move from sitting to standing position easily and quickly.

Job Summary: The Waiter/Waitress is responsible for delivering food and beverage items from the kitchen to the guests. In this position, the waiter/waitress should have an understanding of the content of the menu and ensure that food is delivered in a timely fashion. The waiter/waitress should understand and follow food safety and sanitation guidelines and help with the execution of area setup and breakdown.
