Responsibilities
- Set tables, arrange place settings, and decorate tables.
- Welcome guests, provide recommendations, and answer questions about menu items, wines, and other offerings.
- Take orders and maintain accurate sales records.
- Process payments via cash or credit card.
- Adhere to sanitary food handling and serving techniques.
- Calculate checks and make change using basic math skills.
Requirements
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks.
- May require a Tier 1 background investigation for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
- Complete a minimum of 4 hours of initial food sanitation and safety training within 30 days of employment, plus 4 hours of annual refresher training.
- Must meet state/local age requirements if serving alcoholic beverages.
Qualifications
- Resumes must be two pages or less and clearly demonstrate relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and abilities.
- Must meet state/local age requirements for serving alcoholic beverages if applicable.
- Basic math skills to compute patron bills and make change.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Work experience performing the duties identified in this role.
Highly preferred qualifications include experience directly related to the duties listed above.
