Wafer Fab Operator

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Safety: Wear all required PPE, respect safety systems, maintain training certifications, report all injuries or pain immediately, maintain awareness of surroundings, report safety concerns to supervisor.
• Quality: Follow work instructions, maintain data integrity, handle products carefully, stop and ask questions, log tools, report near misses.
• Productivity: Keep production moving, follow dispatch list, adhere to break schedules, follow dispatch list to run by priority unless directed by supervisor.
• Reliability: Adhere to reliability expectations, attend and be punctual, follow department’s reliability standards.
• Teamwork: Communicate professionally, handle differences in a professional manner, offer and accept constructive feedback.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Less than 1 year of related experience expected

Skills

• Able to read and interpret specifications, maintain records, use basic arithmetic, use material measurement equipment
• Strong teaming skills, able to communicate professionally with all departments at all levels
• Able to read, understand, and speak English
• Able to use PC software including Webmail to collaborate in a professional and respectful manner with coworkers, vendors, contractors, etc.

Working Conditions

• Work in a class 100/1000 clean room for extended periods
• Wear full cleanroom attire (smock, mask, etc.)
• Work with and/or around chemicals (such as solids and acids)
• Work 12 hour compressed shifts (alternate between 3 and 4 shifts per week)

Physical Requirements

• Stand for up to 6 hours at a time
• Lift up to 6-10 Pounds
• Push/Pull up to 16-30 pounds
• Sit for up to 3 hours at a time
