Waco 05 (Woodway) Drugstore - Overnight Stocker - Part time
About the Role
As a Night Stocker, you'll become part of a highly-functioning team in the Grocery or Drug Store department, working to meet common goals and sharing the nighttime work lifestyle. You'll stock a large footprint in the Store, learning about multiple products and departments, which can serve as a building block to many other jobs and potentially a career at H-E-B.
Responsibilities
- Stock shelves and refill displays
- Load, unload, and move heavy, bulky products; may unload trucks
- Condition shelves and products
- Learn and apply product knowledge, including rotation dates, shelf/label info, to meet A+ Standards
- Keep department clean and well-organized (back room, shelves, etc.)
- Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and leader direction
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations for product food safety and sanitation
- Work efficiently with a team attitude; maintain productivity standards
- Accept and apply constructive feedback to future tasks
- May coach or train other Stockers
- Operate with a team mindset; work cross-functionally within the Store and build relationships across departments
- Learn and model customer service and hospitality for Customers and Store Partners
- Assist customers in locating products and answering product questions
Requirements
- Must be 18 or older
- Experience stocking and in customer service (preferred)
- Experience in a physically demanding job is a plus

- Forklift/power jack training (provided upon hire)

- Demonstrate the ability to lift 66 lbs and manage in excess of 50 lbs
Dairy
- Constantly: Reach at waist, grasp; exposed to cold temperatures
- Frequently: Stand, walk, bend
- Occasionally: Reach at overhead, shoulder, knee, or floor; stoop, squat, crouch, kneel, climb stairs, pivot, twist, push/pull with arms, pinch, perform fine motor movements

- Demonstrate the ability to lift 60 lbs and manage in excess of 60 lbs
Frequency definitions: Constantly = 5.5+ hours per 8-hour day; Frequently = 2.5 - 5.5 hours per 8-hour day; Occasionally = 0 - 2.5 hours per 8-hour day.
