Responsibilities
- Microsoft SQL Server administration in production environments
- Building and configuring SQL Server clusters
- Troubleshooting SQL Server clustering and failover issues
- SQL Server database migrations and version upgrades
- Migrating production databases from legacy SQL Server environments
- Backup, recovery, and disaster recovery
- SQL Server access and permissions management
- SQL Server database configuration
- Troubleshooting legacy or non-standard SQL environments
- Planning and executing production migration/cutover activities
- Documentation and knowledge transfer
- Independently leading SQL infrastructure work and coordinating with development and infrastructure teams
