Location & Duration
Houston, TX (onsite from day one). 12+ month W2 contract.
Experience
- 8+ years of hands-on experience troubleshooting, configuring, and supporting PLC and HMI systems, including current and legacy hardware and PLC programming platforms such as Rockwell Studio 5000, Emerson PAC Machine Edition, B&R Automation Studio.
- HMI Application Experience: FactoryTalk View SE, Inductive Automation Ignition.
- 7–10 years of experience supporting Terminal Automation Systems (Toptech TMS) and/or Operational Technology (OT) environments within refined fuels or related industrial domains.
Primary Technical Skills
- TMS (Terminal Management System) – TMS6 / TMS7 support and troubleshooting.
- Linux / Red Hat command-line operations, log analysis, service and process management.
- MySQL: basic queries, transaction and data validation.
- OT integrations & transaction flow knowledge (Toptech, Tabs/TDS, Digi, Railman).
- Ability to troubleshoot application, system, and integration issues in an OT environment.
Secondary ITSM / Operational Skills
- Incident Management: issue triage, troubleshooting, and resolution.
- P1 / P2 Incident Handling: experience participating in critical incidents and bridge calls.
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA): identify root causes and implement corrective / preventive actions.
- Vendor Escalations: coordination with third-party vendors for issue resolution and tracking.
- Experience working within ITSM processes (incident, escalation, communication, closure).
Work Requirements
- Flexible to work US night shifts.
- Willing to participate in rotational on-call support.
