AWS Migration Lead

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced Pod Lead to provide technical leadership for migrating enterprise applications from on-premises environments to AWS Outposts.

Responsibilities

• Define migration strategies and design target architectures
• Lead infrastructure and application modernization efforts
• Drive end-to-end technical execution for migration pods
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to ensure scalable, secure, and low-risk migrations while maintaining architecture and operational standards

Requirements

• Strong expertise in AWS, hybrid cloud architecture, infrastructure modernization, networking, automation, and enterprise migration programs
• Hands-on experience in application and code modernization including Java 8 to Java 17/21 upgrades, Spring Boot modernization, dependency remediation, CI/CD integration, and cloud readiness improvements

Qualifications

• Proven track record in successful large-scale enterprise migrations
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, and EKS
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Experience with cloud-native technologies and DevOps practices

Pay

• $150,000 - $180,000 annually
