W19 - QC Lead - Day Shift

About the role

RJW Logistics Group is hiring for a Material Handler Lead position. This role involves maintaining warehouse areas, ensuring correct staging and loading of shipments, and providing material handling services. The position reports to a shift supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Properly receive, unload, move, and tag incoming parts and equipment.
• Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), QMS (Quality Management Systems), and Lean Warehousing.
• Operate material handling equipment and use an RF scanner.
• Pull and stage parts for production and complete requisitions for parts shortages.
• Collect and properly package inventory and purchased items needing shipment.
• Ensure Material Handlers operate forklifts and walkies safely at all times following all safety policies and procedures.
• Verify orders are complete and accurate.
• Pick each customer order in the most effective manner possible to minimize shipping costs and insure product safety.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years in a warehouse environment.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Good stable work and attendance record.
• Major experience on sit down forklifts and walkies.
• Experienced in cross docking freight process.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
