W17 - Inventory Control Clerk - 2nd shift

About the role

The Inventory Control Clerk position requires 1-3 months of related experience and/or training in inventory control and warehouse environments. Essential duties include conducting cycle counts, reconciling inventory discrepancies, and collaborating with the Inventory Supervisor/Manager on inventory-related functions.

Responsibilities

• Conducts physical counts of inventory items to maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Accurately inputs inventory control data to ensure inventory integrity.
• Completes necessary documentation thoroughly, accurately, and on time.
• Traces item histories to determine reasons for discrepancies and recommends remedial actions.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 months related experience and/or training in inventory control and warehouse environment.
• Must be able to communicate, read, write, and speak English.
• Experience operating a forklift and cherry picker/high lift.
• Experience using WMS software a plus (Synapse preferred).
• PC literate with experience in Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, operate a forklift, and communicate effectively.
• Physical ability to lift up to 55 pounds, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch.

Skills

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Solving practical problems and dealing with a variety of concrete variables.
• Interpreting written, oral, and diagram instructions.
• Utilizing computer terminal to properly account for inventory issues, returns, and documentation.

Hourly rate: $22
Shift differential: $1 per shift
