W15- B shift Lead OB

About the role

To perform loading / unloading of RJW trucks and outside carriers. Ensure all shipments are properly stored in the warehouse. Pick orders from warehouse inventory as directed by customer. Coordinate with dispatch and sales to resolve any discrepancies. Maintain warehouse area with orderly stacking and good housekeeping. Spotting of trailers to maintain efficient yard organization and flow of equipment into warehouse. Process outbound freight cross-dock freight as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Loading / unloading truck / trailers safely and efficiently using proper procedures, including outside carrier equipment.
• Picking and moving from 1 lb to 50 lbs or more multiple times.
• Ensure all documentation is properly completed.
• Clock in/out and coordinate paperwork with drivers after normal dispatch operations are finished for the day.
• Maintain warehouse area with orderly stacking and good housekeeping.
• Spotting of trailers to maintain efficient yard organization and flow of equipment into warehouse.

• General maintenance of are surrounding warehouse.
• Sweeping clean of any debris when empty.
• Ensuring all shipments are correctly staged and loaded properly.
• Ability to operate Stand-up Reach Forklifts, Cherry Pickers, and some sit-down forklift work.
• Follow all safety procedures at all times.
• Maintain orderly operation of warehouse.

Qualifications

• 1 year Fork Lift driving experience.
• Certified Fork Lift License.
