Compensation
Compensation: $22-$23/hour

Step increase program
Pay will increase by $.50 after 90 days and again after 180 days
Certified/Qualified Forklift/Walkie Rider/Cherry Picker drivers will receive an additional $0.50/hr
Certified/Qualified Reach Truck drivers will receive an additional $1.00/hr
Job Purpose
To perform loading / unloading of RJW trucks and outside carriers. Ensure all shipments are properly stored in the warehouse. Pick orders from warehouse inventory as directed by customer.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Loading / unloading truck / trailers safely and efficiently using proper procedures, including outside carrier equipment.
Picking and moving from 1 lb to 50 lbs or more multiple times.
Ensure all documentation is properly completed.
Cookordination with dispatch and sales to resolve any discrepancies.
Proper storing of all inbound loads in the correct warehouse location.
Ensure all shipments are properly marked before storing / picking.
Maintain warehouse area with orderly stacking and good housekeeping.
Spotting of trailers to maintain efficient yard organization and flow of equipment into warehouse.
Cookordination paperwork with drivers after normal dispatch operations are finished for the day.
General maintenance of are surrounding warehouse.
Ensure trailers are swept clean of any debris when empty.
Ensure all shipments are correctly staged and loaded properly.
Process outbound freight cross-dock freight as necessary.
Additional Responsibilities
Must know how to operate a Forklift, Cherry Picker, and Stand-up Reach Forklift.
Good communication, problem resolution and people skills.
Ability to maintain orderly operation of warehouse.
Qualifications
1 year Fork Lift driving experience.
Certified Fork Lift License.
Education And/or Experience Required
High School Diploma or general education diploma (GED) is preferred.
Language Skills
Set Must be able to communicate, read, write, and speak English.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have knowledge of Business Operating Systems, Internet software, Word Processing, and Spreadsheet software.
Physical Demands
Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to activate phone systems utilizing keyboards and buttons.
Must be articulate and comfortable speaking in front of others.
Frequently required to talk, hear, stand and walk.
Must be able to work in excess of continuous 8 hours when required.
Must be able to work under stressful situations, have good cognitive skills, maintain work accuracy, and the ability to concentrate on more than one task at a time.
Must have the ability to read and discern visual images on a variety of media with 20/20 corrected vision.
Must be able to speak and communicate clearly over telephones.
Must be in sound physical health as determined by a certified licensed physician with no evidence of the use of controlled substances.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, and fumes or airborne particles.
The noise level in the work environment will range from quiet to moderately loud.
